dream guitar is the piss yellow Squire Sonic Telecaster, which i get is like a basic starter choice but ohhh my goddddddd i WANT HER so BADDDD.

• minor vocaloid era - my friend introduced me to the greats (hatsune miku and the original vocaloids) which i'm very grateful for, bc of how much it's influenced all the other stuff i listen to
• brief stint of piano lessons
• first guitar (same kawasaki lmao). wasn't playing it seriously
• late 2010s - violin lessons - i mostly only played it in school, but every so often i pick it up to try and eke out a tune
• quarantine hit and i got into kkb, laufey, that kinda stuff. OH and hyperpop!
• 2022 ish - JERSEYCLUB GLITCH ELECTRONICA HELL
• 2024-25 - try to get into guitar fr (fail)
• bandori player / j-rock phase
• start getting into more indie rock...bc im going for that kkinda vibe (EWWWW POSER ALERTTTT
• get hit with the ghost obsession
• 2025-26 - try to get into guitar fr (succeed! for now)
• get an electric guitar as a gift

but seriously tho ghost was the reason i picked up guitar that third time and have been rolling with it ever since. especially the guitarists. yk the guitarists always look like they're having so much fun, yet they rarely miss a beat or fumble a chord, they make it look effortless. i want to experience that for anything really, but especially guitar.

its also the feeling. when i sit down and play my guitar its like drugs lowkey...i feel so relaxed and unworried abt anything else. the only thing that gets frustrating is having to work on a new skill lol. but even that feels nice. maybe its the same feeling that some artists get while drawing, or actors while acting, or athletes on the field. that "i can be good at this" feeling. not like im already the best i can be, but also not like i'll never improve or that i should be much better than i am now. just, breathing room. to have fun.

and fun we do have!!! omg i love cranking out silly meme stuff or playing my favorite songs. its actually so crazy that if i wanna hear a song i can just play it. wild...maybe that's why i play really.
